Search CBS Actinomycetes database

When you have selected one of the following categories a form is displayed in which you can enter one or more search arguments.

Species name

This option allows you to specify (part of) a species name; when records have been retrieved you may select species for which data have to be displayed. The data include synonyms and strains.

Strain number

This option allows you to search for a strain with a particular strain number. The number may be a CBS collection number, e.g. 937.68 or a number from another collection, like DSM 40001.

Properties of species/strains

This option allows you to search for species or strains having particular properties, like enzymes produced, diseases caused or substrate from which strains were isolated.
